THE 2025 GALA & LGBTQIAPN+ People's Choice Awards
The GALA & People’s Choice Awards is an event dedicated to honoring and celebrating the vibrant and diverse LGBTQIAPN+ community in Victoria and surrounds. It serves as a powerful platform to showcase the talents, achievements, and contributions of individuals from all backgrounds and identities.
Through this celebration we strive to uplift and empower LGBTQIAPN+ individuals, amplify their voices, and inspire others to embrace diversity and promote equality.
This award holds significant importance as it not only acknowledges the remarkable accomplishments of LGBTQIAPN+ individuals but also underscores the ongoing efforts to foster inclusivity, acceptance, and equity for all members of the community. By recognizing and challenging biases that may hinder LGBTQIAPN+ individuals from achieving equality in all aspects of life, the GALA & People’s Choice Awards actively promotes social change and advocates for a more inclusive society.
By honoring their achievements and contributions, we aim to create a more supportive and inclusive environment where everyone, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity or ethnicity, can thrive and be celebrated for who they are.
AUSTRALIAN LGBTQIAPN+ INFLUENCER OF YEAR!
This award will acknowledge a person of influence, they do not have to have the blue tick, but they have the power to drive influence in community.
AUSTRALIAN BEST LGBTQIAPN+ PUBS, BARS AND CLUBS!
This award will be awards to Australian best LGBTQIAPN+ pubs, bars and clubs as voted by the people. We want to know why, so please ensure you provide details to support this nomination.
CELEBRATING NEURODIVERSITY AWARD!
The awards will acknowledge and celebrate a LGBTQIAPN+ Neurodivergent business, service or small group or individual’s successes in the acknowledge community.
THE ADVOCATE OF THE YEAR
This award will recognize a group or individual who publicly support or demonstrated excellence in advocating or making changes that benefit LGBTQIAPN+ people and the community.
THE BUSINESSPERSON AWARD
This award recognizes your favorite LGBTQIAPN+ small group or individual, providing quality products or services.
(i.e.; selling or providing a service, business owner, market stall, gyms, saunas, services, club)
THE CAPTIVATOR AWARD
This award recognizes one of your favorite LGBTQIAPN+ groups or individual who captivates you or their audience when they perform.
(i.e.; Drag Artist, Dancer, Burlesque)
THE COMMUNITY INITIATIVE AWARD
This award will recognize community initiatives by local groups, individuals or organizations to address or support the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
(i.e.; Organizing a fundraiser for the community, such as funding a top surgery or donating to charity. A community group, space, festival, market or event for LGBTQIAPN+ people)
THE COURAGE AWARD
This award will recognize a group or individual who has shown courage.
(i.e.; standing up for equal rights, speaking out about discrimination, LGBTQIAPN+ rights)
THE CREATOR AWARD
This award is Euphoria Socials way of recognizes one your favorite LGBTQIAPN+ group or individual who creates or entertains with their work.
(i.e.; Actor, Comedian, Musician, MC, Performer, Singer, DJ)
THE FASHIONISTA AWARD
This award is Euphoria Socials way of recognizes one your favorite LGBTQIAPN+ group or individual whose fashion or style stands out to you.
(i.e.; Designer, Stylist, Make Up Artist, Model)
THE PRODUCERS AWARDS
This award recognizes your favorite media LGBTQIAPN+ activity.
(i.e.; Those bring us the news, a laugh or capturing our events. Music Producer, TV and Film, Media, Podcast, Commentators, Journalist, Radio Presenter, Wedding Celebrates, Photographer)
RECREATIONAL OR SOCIAL GROUP
This award will recognize the efforts of one a social, recreational or sporting group.
(i.e.; a venue or event, studio, market, social group or sporting club.)
SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARD
This award will acknowledge the work and contributions made by a group or individual in the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
(i.e.; Nominate anyone who doesn’t fit in any other category, that deserves recognition. Volunteer’s or Advocates)
YOUTH AWARD
This award will acknowledge the work and contributions made by a group or individual aged 18 - 26 in the LGBTQIAPN+ community.

Will the public vote be anonymous?
Yes!
The public have voted that they wish for this to remain for the public vote to remain anonymous.
Is this national or state based?
We are based in Victoria, however we will accept national submissions.
Who is allowed to be nominated?
Any Australian person, business or group. If you think they deserve it, we want to hear about it.
They do need to be 18+.
Euphoria Social will not be voting.
Can I nominate a Club, Group or Venue?
Yes.
Can Tim be nominated?
Yes!
Tim is an ambassador for Euphoria Social, he is helping us promote the event.
Tim is not part of the selection process and has no influence over the nominations.
Can I nominate myself?
Yes!
Everyone deserves recognition.
Can I nominate someone famous?
Yes!
Of course, nominate anyone you think deserves to be recognized for their impact on the LGBTQIAPN+ community.
