7th January 2025 – The time has come to slip into your most fabulous outfit and get ready to party like it’s Studio 54! It’s THE BIG CAMP COUNTDOWN – Imagine Australia’s most iconic countdown transformed into a glittering, camp-inspired extravaganza. 

The BIG CAMP COUNTDOWN is an early evening dance party that brings together the LGBTQIAPN+ community in Melbourne to celebrate queer culture through music. Known for its lively, high-energy atmosphere, this event will be held at the Victorian Pride Centre. It’s a countdown dance party featuring DJs, performances, and dance floors filled with people embracing their identities and expressing themselves freely. 

Get Ready to Groove! 

Prepare to groove through the Top 50 Queer Anthems of All Time, as voted by YOU! From disco classics to modern pop bangers, these anthems have shaped queer culture, turned every night into a celebration of love, freedom, and community. 

The Ultimate Queer Party 

On the night, get ready for an unforgettable experience packed with vibrant performances, electric energy, and a dance floor that won’t stop moving. Here’s what’s in store: 

Hostess with the Mostest: The one and only DJ Cassidy La Crème is bringing the hype, the tunes, and the charisma all night long. 

Performances: Melbourne’s finest artists will serve up performances that will have you gagging.

MalcolmPaull and the City of Port Phillip bring you a night of High Couture and Musical Theatre with “HSOJ TREATO”.

After his sell out show in 2022, Malcolm Paull is back with his new show, a night of live musical performances and high couture not to be missed!

Hosted by Ben Murphy (Award-winning Executive Producer/Creator/Host of the TV series "Ben Murphy's CHATTERBOX) with live musical performances by Callum McWilliam, and straight off London’s West End with his mesmerizing performances in “Les Misérables” and “Phantom of the Opera”, Australia’s leading man of musical theatre Josh Piterman will be performing live.

Expect knockout designs from Tulle Addict to start the show, followed by MalcolmPaull's new collection with signature OTT Couture looks, along with stunning headpieces by Aurelia Paige, this is a show not to be missed.
